Job Description:

Join our team as a CVICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract. This role involves working three 12-hour day shifts per week, from 07:00 to 19:30, with a focus on critical care in a specialized Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. You’ll be responsible for monitoring patients closely, managing complex cardiovascular cases, and collaborating with a dedicated team. Every other weekend, you’ll provide weekend coverage, ensuring continuous high-quality patient care. Unique to this assignment is the fast-paced, high-stakes environment that keeps your skills sharp and offers a rewarding experience working alongside expert healthcare professionals. The role requires current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications, along with at least two years of CVICU experience and an associate degree in nursing (bachelor’s preferred). Scrubs are typically green, reflecting the unit’s uniform policy.
