Job Description:

Join our team as a registered nurse in the high-acuity step-down unit at Alaska Regional Hospital, located in Anchorage. This 13-week contract offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you'll manage patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, ventilator support, and complex procedures like emergent cardioversion. Your days will be busy, but rewarding, as you provide critical care to a 19-bed unit with experienced staff. The role involves 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM), enabling you to experience the lively city nights and embrace the stunning Alaska scenery during your free time. If you’re adaptable, team-focused, and skilled with telemetry, trachs, and titratable drips, this assignment is a perfect fit.
