Job Description:

Join a psychiatric inpatient unit in Seattle for a 13-week contract as a Registered Nurse specializing in behavioral health. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing critical support for adult patients 18 and above in involuntary treatment. Your role involves conducting clinical interviews, behavioral assessments, and helping coordinate patient transfers to medical hospitals when necessary. The environment calls for quick thinking and a calm demeanor—think of it as a mental health rescue mission, but with less capes and more compassion. Expected to assume charge duties and utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system, you'll be on your toes, ensuring quality care in a busy hospital setting.
