Job Description:

Join Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital as a Registered Nurse in a role that offers a meaningful experience working with diverse patient populations, including adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics (ages 5-17). You'll be providing care in a secure mental health setting, focusing on conditions such as schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorder. The shift runs from 3 PM to 11 PM, giving you a structured schedule with weekends on an alternating basis and no call responsibilities. This assignment is perfect for nurses who want to make a difference in behavioral health and enjoy a supportive environment where shift supervisors are your go-to for guidance. Expect to work on all five units in a facility housing 104 beds across adult, child, and geriatric units, utilizing Cerner electronic health records and Blue scrubs daily. The position is guaranteed 40 hours per week for the duration of 13 weeks, at a week's gross pay of approximately $1,968.62.
