Job Description:

Join a reputable Medical Surgical Nursing team in Wilmington, NC, for a 26-week travel assignment. This role involves providing specialized care to adult patients with conditions such as COVID, pneumonia, COPD, and sepsis, in a COVID isolation unit with multi-level care options including stepdown. You'll be working 12-hour daytime shifts, typically 36 or 48 hours per week, on a Storm or Hurricane Team, ready to respond during disasters or mass casualty events. No RTO requests are permitted post-booking, emphasizing the need for commitment. Experience with telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV protocols, and wound care is essential. This opportunity offers a chance to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on acute medical-surgical patient management, utilizing tools like Epic and Pyxis, and adhering to strict infection control procedures.
