Job Description:

Join the ICU team at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita for a 13-week travel assignment on the Coronary Care Unit. You'll work 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, providing specialized care for critically ill patients with heart conditions. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience with advanced equipment like balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia protocols, all within a busy hospital environment. You'll collaborate with a dedicated team of 15 staff members, encompassing RNs, charge nurses, and patient care techs, in a unit that maintains a patient-to-staff ratio of 1:2. Your responsibilities will include managing complex procedures such as heart caths, central lines, medication drips, and cardioversions. Candidates with prior ICU experience, Meditech system familiarity, and a flexible, driven attitude will thrive here.
