Job Description:

Join a reputable acute care hospital in Alton, Illinois, as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse on a 12-week assignment. This role features 3x12-hour daytime shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, providing an engaging balance of patient interactions and hands-on care within a 158-bed facility. You'll work within a team managing patient loads with ratios around 1:5 or 6, focusing on diverse medical-surgical cases. This assignment offers the opportunity to broaden your experience in a supportive environment where first-timers are welcomed. Be prepared to float within your scope as needed, and enjoy consistent hours, with 36 hours guaranteed weekly. The hospital uses EPIC for charting and has no parking costs.
