Job Description:

This ICU and progressive care travel assignment in Fort Wayne, IN offers a unique opportunity to work in a mixed acuity unit where you'll care for both critical and recovering patients. The role involves float responsibilities across ICU, PCU, and Medsurg units, primarily caring for ventilated, critically ill patients requiring procedures like intubations, line placements, and titrating IV drips such as vasopressors and sedatives. The shift is 12 hours at night, three times a week, with rotation including weekends. You will be supporting a 24-bed Medical ICU and a 12-bed Progressive Care unit, maintaining patient-to-nurse ratios between 1:2 and 1:4. This assignment is perfect for experienced ICU RNs seeking diverse clinical challenges in a dynamic hospital setting.
