Job Description:

This 13-week temporary RN position in Birmingham, AL, offers a unique opportunity to work in the Medical Surgical unit at Brookwood Medical Center. You'll be responsible for providing compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment, alternating night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. The role involves managing a patient census with a 6:1 ratio, handling post-op surgeries, and supporting orthopedics and medical-surgical needs. Expect to collaborate with a friendly, dedicated team and keep skills sharp with required certifications like BLS and NIHSS. Floating to other units depends on staffing needs, offering a dynamic experience to adapt and grow in your nursing career.
