Job Description:

Join a dedicated Medsurg/Oncology RN team in Bismarck, North Dakota, for an engaging 13-week contract. This role places you in a family-oriented, supportive unit where oncology procedures, including chemo administration, are routine. The shift schedule consists of 12-hour days, allowing for balanced work and personal time. The unit cares for adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses such as strokes, hypertension, COPD, CHF, atrial fibrillation, and more. Experience with trach and BiPAP is preferred but not required, and some familiarity with titrating drips like Lasix and Heparin will help you hit the ground running. You'll collaborate with charge nurses, nurse aids, and tele techs, utilizing telepacks and monitor tech support for strip readings. Expect a role that emphasizes teamwork, with orientation lasting 1-2 shifts, and options for block scheduling. Enjoy this opportunity in a supportive environment where your skills make a difference.
