Job Description:

This CVOR Tech position offers an engaging opportunity to work within a busy surgical services department at a teaching hospital in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The role involves supporting a wide range of cardiovascular, vascular, thoracic, and general surgeries in a hybrid OR setting. You'll be assisting in cases such as aortic repairs, valve replacements, carotid procedures, and thoracoscopy. The schedule is structured around 5 days of 8-hour shifts, starting early in the morning, which allows you to experience the fast-paced atmosphere of a Level 3 trauma center. Flexibility with float requirements within the scope of practice is included, and the assignment spans 13 weeks, with the possibility of working alongside a team of skilled medical professionals in one of 20 well-equipped OR rooms. Expect to utilize your technical expertise in maintaining aseptic procedures, handling complex equipment, and supporting innovative surgical techniques like robotics and minimally invasive procedures.
