Job Description:

Join a reputable hospital in Prestonsburg, KY, as a PCU Registered Nurse. This 13-week contract offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a 12-hour rotating night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), caring for patients in an intermediate unit requiring specialized nursing skills. You will manage a patient ratio of approximately 1:5 or 1:6, utilizing Meditech EMR to document and coordinate care. The role demands current MS/Tele-PCU experience, along with certifications including AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH. KY or compact license is required, and float responsibilities within your scope of practice are expected. Be prepared for every-other weekend shifts and a schedule that varies with census fluctuations. Orientation occurs bi-weekly, and local candidates within 75 miles are ineligible, as this position is for travelers only. Start date is immediate upon confirmation, which must be signed within 24 hours of an offer.
