Job Description:

Join this engaging 13-week travel contract as a PCU Registered Nurse in Mount Vernon, Illinois. In this role, you'll be responsible for telemetry and cardiac monitoring, administering emergency responses, starting IVs, managing chest tubes and cardiac drips, and performing bedside cardioversion. The setting offers a fast-paced environment where your skills in handling conditions such as COPD, CAD, CHF, AFib, Sepsis, and COVID are vital. This position is perfect for nurses who enjoy a nightlife shift structure—working three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM—and are comfortable navigating Epic electronic health records. If you have at least one year of experience and hold ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications, this assignment offers a chance to put your expertise into action in a rewarding setting, with first-time travelers accepted.
