Job Description:

Join a prominent teaching hospital in Saint Paul as a High-Risk Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for an 18-week contract. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a complex maternity environment, focusing on high-risk pregnancies, post-partum procedures, and waterbirth support. You'll work a 12-hour rotating day/night shift, with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, ensuring personalized attention during critical moments. Experience with Epic charting, postpartum tubal ligations, Cerclages, and waterbirth is essential. The assignment offers a unique chance to engage in a fast-paced setting while floating within scope to postpartum units. Local candidates are not accepted; this is an excellent opportunity for traveling RNs eager to make a difference in a busy, Level 3 trauma teaching hospital. The weekly schedule totals 36 hours, with guaranteed hours and flexibility in scheduling, making this an engaging and rewarding experience.
