Job Description:

Join a vibrant PACU team in Hilo, HI, for a 13-week travel assignment where you'll be at the heart of post-anesthesia care. This role involves caring for patients recovering from surgery, focusing on Phase I and Phase II recovery, and requires a critical eye for monitoring incision sites, vital signs, and patient stability. You'll utilize advanced equipment such as Meditech, PCA Pumps, Pyxis, and Phillips Monitors. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of critical care experience, although recent ER or ICU nurses with critical care skills are also welcome. A Hawaii license is mandatory before start, and proof of flu vaccination or approved exception is required prior to contract commencement. Expect shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with on-call opportunities.
