Job Description:

Step into a rural Emergency Department role with a travel contract built for nightshift professionals who thrive on pace, variety, and clear priorities. In this Emergency Department RN position in Henderson, North Carolina, you’ll support an active ED and a free-standing ED setting where acuity can be high and patient flow stays busy. Your schedule is 12-hour nights with a weekly guaranteed 36 hours, and you’ll be expected to work 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period. You’ll chart in Paragon EHR and bring at least 1 year of RN experience to a team that values preparedness and efficiency.

This immediate backfill opportunity is ideal for an RN who can jump in quickly and consistently deliver during high-demand times—especially with experience tied to peripheral IV placement, stroke, and SEPSIS/STEMI workflows.

Expect generally mild-to-warm days with comfortable evenings, along with the possibility of warm humidity and occasional rainfall.
