Job Description:

This RN role in the Emergency Department of Wilson Medical Center offers a chance to work in a busy 26-bed unit with patient ratios typically around 1:4-5. You'll handle cases such as respiratory distress, overdoses, CHF, dialysis, and hypertension, all while utilizing GE monitors and standard ED equipment. During your 12-hour night shifts, you'll support a diverse patient population including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients. The assignment lasts 13 weeks, providing an opportunity to immerse yourself in a vibrant healthcare setting while experiencing the unique rhythm of night shift nursing in North Carolina. Flexibility in shift timing and a focus on team collaboration make this environment both challenging and rewarding.
