Job Description:

Join our team as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse on a 12-hour night shift in Charlottesville, VA. This 18-week contract offers a rewarding experience in a facility that handles approximately 2,000 deliveries annually, with eight private labor rooms, four triage beds, and two OB operating rooms. Your role will involve clinical review, patient monitoring, and supporting both low and high-risk obstetric cases, including procedures like fetal monitoring and assisting with maternal fetal medicine. Flexibility to cross-train into Mother/Baby and float to NICU keeps your skills sharp. Expect to work every other weekend and two out of three winter holidays, with an average of 36 hours per week. The assignment provides an opportunity to grow your expertise in a supportive environment, with potential for longer continuation through 01/02/2027 and approval for 40 hours off.
