Job Description:

Join a dedicated team in the emergency department at Pen Bay Medical Center, located in the scenic town of Rockport, Maine. This 13-week contract offers a rewarding opportunity for experienced registered nurses to work 12-hour day shifts from 7am to 7pm. You’ll be handling a wide range of emergency cases in a well-equipped ED, which is currently under construction to expand its capacity. The role emphasizes flexibility and teamwork, with an average patient ratio of 4:1 to 5:1. Expect to navigate a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on critical care and stroke management. This position requires at least 2 years of emergency or critical care nursing experience, with a minimum of 1 year of travel experience, and adherence to strict certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI, and NISHH.
