Job Description:

This ER RN contract offers a chance to work in a busy, high-volume emergency department serving over 600,000 patients annually. You'll be responsible for managing a diverse patient population—including trauma, stroke, sepsis, respiratory illnesses, and behavioral health cases—on 12-hour days over a 16-week assignment. The role includes working in a multi-zone ED with dedicated staff, including charge nurses, triage nurses, and resource nurses, and requires prior Epic EMR experience to hit the ground running. Expect to provide culturally competent care in a fast-paced setting, often performing ECGs, assisting with ventilator setups, drawing ABGs, and managing trauma and critical cases. Please note, the hospital enforces strict eligibility, including two years of ER experience, one year in a trauma center, and specific certifications (PALS, TNCC, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, ENPC). No first-time travelers are accepted, and applicants must have no license hits related to medication diversion.
