Job Description:

This ER Registered Nurse role places you in the heart of a busy urban Emergency Department, where you'll handle a high volume of patients—up to 210 visits daily. Your shifts are 12 hours long, offering either a consistent schedule or three 12-hour days per week, providing flexibility for your work-life balance. You'll be responsible for managing ventilated patients, supporting trauma cases, and working within a team supporting Patient Care Technicians and Medic staff. The ideal candidate has at least two years of ER experience in a large, fast-paced setting, with familiarity in using EPIC electronic health records. Expect to work every other weekend, with a ratio of 1:5 patient load and a busy environment demanding quick decision-making and precision. No first-time travelers—this role is suited for seasoned professionals ready to make an impact in a Level 1 trauma center.
