Job Description:

Join Mercy Hospital Springfield’s Emergency Department as an RN for a 13-week travel contract. In this role, you will be providing direct patient care in a busy urban trauma center that handles high-acuity cases, including trauma, stroke, and STEMI patients. Your focus will be on assessing, planning, and implementing care for patients across all age groups, while working closely with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to experience working in a Level 1 trauma setting with a fast-paced environment. Expect to work 12-hour midshift hours, primarily from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with a weekly commitment of 36 hours. The hospital emphasizes professional accountability and teamwork, making this a fitting placement for decisive and flexible nurses eager to make an impact in critical care.
