Job Description:

This ER Registered Nurse role offers a unique opportunity to work within a Level 1 Trauma Center, focusing on acute care in a busy emergency department. The position involves 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) across a four-day workweek, with the flexibility to float between campuses and ED observation areas as needed. Expect to crosstrain and adapt to various adult patient presentations, with an emphasis on trauma experience. The assignment spans 13 weeks, with the possibility of extending up to 26 weeks, providing the chance to immerse yourself in a high-acuity environment while enjoying the camaraderie of a dedicated team. Night shifts require quick thinking and resilience, but you'll also have the support of a seasoned staff targeting a 1:6 patient ratio. Candidates should bring at least 1.5 years of ER experience, preferably from a similar hospital setting, and hold current certifications in TNCC, ACLS, and BLS. This role is ideal for experienced travelers eager to work in a fast-paced, level I trauma setting while being supported by a flexible, accommodating scheduling policy.
