Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract is an excellent opportunity for an RN experienced in medical-surgical and telemetry units. You'll be working in the Med Surg Float Pool, floating between Med Surg Tele units and South East Tower, primarily during night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. The assignment involves a mix of scheduled weekends and holidays, with flexibility required to meet the facility's needs. Charting is done electronically via EPIC, and the role demands a minimum of two years recent hospital experience in acute med-surg or telemetry settings. U.S. work experience and an active NY RN license, along with AHA BLS certification, are mandatory. Candidates should reside more than 50 miles from the facility and are expected to float to other units as needed throughout the 16-week contract. The weekly commitment is approximately 36 hours, with an average gross pay of $2,046.88 per week. This role offers a hands-on experience navigating diverse patient needs within a fast-paced hospital environment.
