Job Description:

Join a stepdown cardiac unit in Morganton, NC, as a Registered Nurse specializing in IMCU (Intermediate Medical Care). This 13-week contract offers a unique opportunity to care for post-heart cath patients and higher acuity cardiac cases. You'll be working night shifts (19:00 - 07:00) on a 3x12-hour schedule, managing a patient ratio of 1:3-4. The role involves administering a variety of drips, including Precedex, insulin, dopamine, and dobutamine, with all procedures outlined in the updated IV guidelines. You'll operate within an Epic EMR environment, providing critical step-down care for patients transitioning from ICU. Locals are welcome to apply at the same rate, and North Carolina licensure is required.
