Job Description:

This Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse contract offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment focused on high-risk obstetric care. During this 26-week assignment, you'll be responsible for circulating during deliveries, providing newborn care including eyes and thigh assessments, administering medications such as Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate, and supporting post-partum patients. The role involves working four 12-hour night shifts weekly, with occasional float to sister units supporting Mother/Baby care. Expect to handle approximately 15 patients daily and contribute to a busy unit managing around 500-600 deliveries per month. This position emphasizes advanced fetal monitoring skills, experience with high-risk cases, and adherence to strict clinical standards. Successful candidates will bring 3-5 years of relevant experience, current certifications, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume obstetrics setting that values competency and professionalism.
