Job Description:

This Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position offers a unique opportunity to work in a high-acuity Level 3 Perinatal center known for managing complex cases. You'll be responsible for caring for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn patients, with a focus on women experiencing high-risk pregnancies. The role involves providing hands-on support to deliver babies safely during 12-hour night shifts, and you'll be the "baby catcher" for well, non-compromised infants in a facility equipped with two operating rooms for C-sections and surgical procedures. Expect to work a 48-hour weekly schedule over 26 weeks, with guaranteed hours even during low census periods and some flexibility for call-in in four-hour increments. This position is ideal for seasoned RNs with at least three years of experience and certifications in BLS and NRP, as well as those comfortable floating within the hospital as needed.
