Job Description:

This 17-week travel contract in Albany, GA, offers the chance to join a dedicated cardiology stepdown unit that handles a variety of complex cardiovascular cases. You will work 12-hour night shifts, providing specialized care to post-operative cardiac surgery patients, CHF, atrial fibrillation with RVR, and other cardiovascular conditions. As part of this team, you'll interpret strips, manage drips like Cardizem and amiodarone, and support patients with BiPap, CPAP, and Vapotherm equipment. The role requires at least 2 years of recent stepdown experience in an acute care setting and adherence to strict staffing ratios—all within a walkable, fast-paced environment. If you are attentive to detail and comfortable floating to ICU (with appropriate experience), this assignment offers a rewarding opportunity to refine your skills and make a meaningful impact in cardiac patient recovery.
