Job Description:

Join our outpatient physical therapy team in Jacksonville, Illinois, for a 13-week assignment focused on orthopedic rehabilitation. The role involves providing outpatient therapy in a clinic setting, working Monday through Friday with flexible hours within the 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM window. You'll be working with patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions such as degenerative joint disease, post-op surgeries, and neurologic cases like post-stroke rehabilitation. Expect to perform assessments like gait analysis, body mechanics, and strength testing, as well as utilize modalities such as ultrasound and e-stim. This position offers a unique chance to deepen your orthopedic expertise while collaborating within a critical access hospital environment that is both critical and magnet-designated. The clinician will primarily work independently, following established care plans while having the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' recovery journeys.
