Job Description:

This CVICU Registered Nurse role in Albuquerque offers an engaging opportunity to work in a Level I Trauma and teaching hospital. The position is focused on supporting post-op open hearts and complex cardiac cases, including procedures like CABG, aneurysm repairs, and ECMO. You'll be working 12-hour day shifts, four days a week, with a weekly commitment of 48 hours. The facility values flexibility, and RNs may float within scope to care for patients on other ICUs, PCU floors, ED, or PACU. Prior CVICU experience and current ACLS & BLS certifications are required. This assignment involves handling advanced equipment such as ECMO, Impella, and CRRT, along with managing high-acuity cardiac cases. The role also requires working during major holidays with specific bundle work, making it a challenging yet rewarding experience.
