Job Description:

Join a charming Charleston assignment as a CVICU Registered Nurse and Cardiac Mechanical Support Coordinator. In this role, you will be rounding on both inpatients and outpatients, troubleshooting advanced cardiac devices like VADs, IABP, and Impella devices, and serving as a subject matter expert in cardiac support technology. The schedule is structured as five 8-hour days from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (or 6:30 am to 3:00 pm), Monday through Friday, with the potential to work one weekend per month and participate in a weekday call. Your expertise will ensure seamless device management and support for patients with complex heart failure conditions in this Level I Trauma Center and teaching hospital. Prepare to apply your two or more years of RN experience, especially in managing advanced heart failure cases and VAD coordination, in a setting where your skills truly make an impact.
