Job Description:

Join a valued healthcare team as a Med Surg RN in Galesburg, Illinois, for a 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts. This role involves managing a diverse patient load, including COPD, Sepsis, CVA, COVID, pneumonia, and postoperative surgical cases such as hips, knees, and hernia repairs. You'll experience the unique rhythm of assisting with patient assessments, administering treatments, and coordinating care in a unit that features a mix of private and semi-private rooms. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with a stable team, utilizing the EPIC EMR system, and floating as needed to other floors with proper competency. This assignment offers guaranteed hours during orientation and weekend requirements every other week. It's an excellent opportunity to sharpen your skills in a supportive environment with access to hospitalist providers, in-house coverage, and a dedicated pharmacy.
