Job Description:

Join a dedicated cardiology and med-surge nursing team at Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital in Birmingham, AL, as a travel RN on a 12-hour night shift schedule. In this role, you'll be working on the 2 West unit, caring for pre- and post-heart catheterization patients, managing general cardiology cases, and handling acute care patient needs with a patient ratio of 1:6. Your responsibilities will include providing targeted nursing support, administering medications, and assisting with bedside procedures in a fast-paced but supportive environment. The assignment offers a lively opportunity to experience the heart of Alabama's vibrant community while applying your expertise in a specialized cardiac setting. Expect a schedule of 36 hours per week over a 13-week period, with every other weekend worked. Expect to use Cerner EMR and wear navy scrubs, while contributing to a team committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care. Plus, you'll have the chance to further develop your skills in a hospital recognized for excellence in stroke care, cardiovascular services, and comprehensive surgical procedures.
