Job Description:

This neuro MedSurg Acute RN position at a renowned facility in Peoria, Illinois offers a unique opportunity to work in a dedicated neuroscience unit specializing in stroke, spine surgery, seizure, brain tumors, and other neurological conditions. The role involves serving adult patients with complex needs, including titrating heparin drips based on PTT levels. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts for a 13-week contract, providing hands-on care during overnight hours while enjoying the vibrant local community during your days off. The assignment includes orientation, guaranteed hours, and local rate benefits for clinicians with addresses within 50 miles. Expect to collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, nurse aides, and telemetry techs, and to be part of a team that manages high-acuity neurological patients with skills in neuro-specific protocols and trauma experience.
