Job Description:

Join an esteemed Level I trauma center as an Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This role offers a chance to work in a fast-paced surgical environment, primarily focusing on general, trauma, bariatric, neurology, orthopedic, plastic, transplant, and urology procedures. The schedule features four 12-hour day shifts from 10:45 am to 11:15 pm, with a weekend requirement of one shift per month. You'll be responsible for supporting all service lines except cardiovascular, delivering patient care support within the OR, and managing a variety of complex cases including laparoscopic surgeries, trauma, and microvascular procedures. Active Illinois RN licensure is required, along with at least 2.5 years of experience in an OR setting. This assignment is ideal for seasoned OR nurses seeking diversity and challenge in a magnet facility—where your skills in sterile technique, trauma response, and specialized procedures will shine.
