Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you in a busy oncology unit at Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital in Birmingham. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing care to oncology, palliative, post-op bariatric, and medical-surgical overflow patients. The shift is 12 hours long, scheduled during the day from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, and you'll work every other weekend. Your role involves administering treatments, monitoring patient status, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining meticulous documentation using the ePIC EMR system. Unique to this assignment is the focus on oncology-specific care, requiring a compassionate yet resilient approach to patient service in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
