Job Description:

Join a pediatric stepdown unit as a Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Madison, WI. This role involves 12-hour rotating shifts—either 7:00am to 7:30pm or 7:00pm to 7:30am—working Monday through Friday with every other weekend. You will handle a variety of pediatric patients, from general medical to stepdown IMC, including those with pulmonary lines, respiratory failure (trach and ventilator dependence), and conditions such as neuro, diabetic, nephrology, and spinal fusion cases. Expect to evaluate acuity levels, manage ventilator support including CPAP and BIPAP, and work with a diverse pediatric patient population. The role requires pediatric medical-surgical experience, BLS, PALS (AHA), an active RN license, and passing a telemetry exam before start. This assignment offers a chance to enhance your pediatric critical care skills in a supportive, fast-paced setting.
