Job Description:

Join a dedicated step-down unit as a registered nurse on a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, VA. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a focus on providing high-level patient stabilization and monitoring in a fast-paced environment. The schedule allows for 36 hours per week, with optional 40 hours for time off, but weekend and holiday coverage is part of the routine, including every other weekend and holiday shifts. You will utilize Epic electronic medical records and adhere to UVA's float policy. Please note, nights can be challenging, but the experience gained is invaluable for those looking to deepen their specialization in step-down care.
