Job Description:

This contract role is ideal for experienced cardiac telemetry nurses prepared to work the overnight shift in a busy hospital setting. You will be responsible for managing acute cardiac patients recovering from procedures such as catheterizations and cardiac surgeries. Your duties will include start IVs, arterial line management, titrating cardiac drips, interpreting telemetry and 12-lead EKGs, and assisting with pre- and post-procedure assessments. The environment offers a chance to work on complex cases, often with multiple procedures happening simultaneously, and to experience the rhythm of nighttime hospital care. Expect to float between units within the hospital, providing coverage where needed, and ensuring patients receive attentive recovery care during your shift. This assignment emphasizes technical proficiency, critical thinking, and the ability to maintain focus through long night hours, making it a rewarding challenge for seasoned cardiac nurses seeking a dynamic, fast-paced role.
