Job Description:

Join a pediatric stepdown unit in Madison, WI, for a 13-week travel assignment as a Pediatric Stepdown Registered Nurse. This role features 12-hour rotating shifts—either 7:00am-7:30pm or 7:00pm-7:30am—Monday through Friday, with every other weekend required. You'll be working with a diverse patient population, including neuro, diabetic, nephrology, and intermediate care patients, often handling acuity ranging from general medical to stepdown IMC. Experience with pulmonary lines, ventilator management, trach care, CPAP, and BIPAP is essential. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of Pediatric MS experience, along with BLS, PALS, an active RN license, and successful passage of a telemetry exam prior to start. Expect to contribute directly to patient stabilization and recovery in this engaging and fast-paced environment, with opportunities to develop specialized skills within pediatric critical care.
