Job Description:

Join our team for a 13-week travel contract in Philadelphia, PA, as an oncology nurse providing specialized patient care in a well-sized 18-bed unit. This role involves 12-hour day shifts, with flexibility to cover weekends as needed—sometimes every weekend, sometimes every six weeks, depending on departmental needs. Opportunities to float are rare but available; if there is no work on the Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit, you may transfer to the Medical Surgical Floor to meet your hours. The patient nurse ratio varies between 2:1 and 3:1, supporting personalized, focused care. Your expertise in oncology, chemotherapy administration, and BMT are highly valued here, with BLS certification required and ONS recommended. No prior travel experience is necessary; just your professional skills and a positive attitude to thrive in this specialized environment.
