Join a 225-bed specialty care hospital in the vibrant city of Marquette, Michigan, as a Diabetes Educator. This contract role offers a chance to lead diabetes education, providing consultation, evaluation, and patient teaching across diverse populations, from neonates to seniors. You'll work independently during 8-hour daytime shifts, delivering educational interventions in both group and individual settings. The unique setting allows you to engage with a broad spectrum of cases, including complex diabetes management in a facility renowned for its Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, and specialty services. Candidates must have a CDCES certification, RN or Registered Dietitian licensure in Michigan, and current BLS-HCP certification.
