Job Description:

Join a dedicated Labor and Delivery team as a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel contract in Kansas City, Missouri. This role involves providing comprehensive care in an LDRP setting, supporting vaginal deliveries, C-sections, postpartum, and antepartum patients. You'll manage patient needs during 12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with opportunities to assist with high-risk deliveries, neonatal resuscitation, and postpartum education. Your expertise will ensure smooth hospital operations, including responding to emergency situations, managing medications like magnesium sulfate and Pitocin, and performing procedures such as sterile vaginal exams and fetal monitoring. First-timers are welcomed, and the role includes rotating weekends and holidays, with mandatory on-call shifts.
