Job Description:

This 13-week assignment places you in a Level 2 NICU within the Women’s Services Department, where you'll support preemies and infants in a specialized, family-centered environment. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts, with opportunities to float within scope to Post Partum and Mother Baby units. Candidates should expect to be involved in critical neonatal care, with some stretching into postpartum care, and must be cross trained accordingly. You’ll be responsible for maintaining compliance with necessary certifications like BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, STABLE, NRP, and CPI or MAB, all required before starting. The facility allows for occasional shift cancellations, and floating responsibilities will be part of the role, potentially requiring charge or preceptor duties reflected on your timesheet. Expect a weekly commitment of approximately 36 hours, with orientation clearance needed ten days prior to assignment start.
