Job Description:

This neonatal intensive care unit position offers a unique opportunity to work within a Level II Special Care nursery caring for babies 32 weeks gestation and above. As a nurse in this role, you'll provide specialized care for infants on CPAP, High Flow, Feeder-Growers, R/S, Sepsis, and Hyperbilirubinemia. The shift is 12-hour nights, with a schedule focused on quality care during high-acuity situations, supported by 24/7 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and Pediatricians. The environment emphasizes teamwork, with a charge nurse managing shift priorities and PCTs assisting with neonatal care. You'll perform all start IVs for neonates, with a certified PICC team available. Your responsibilities include monitoring patients with advanced equipment like CPAP and high-flow systems, and participating in a schedule requiring three weekend shifts per month and holiday coverage. This assignment is ideal for experienced NICU nurses seeking a bustling, collaborative setting that values clinical expertise and attention to detail.
