Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract offers an engaging opportunity for experienced Medical-Surgical and Telemetry Registered Nurses in Charlotte, NC. You will be assigned to various units such as Medical Telemetry, Surgical Telemetry, Cardiac Medical Telemetry, and Med/Tele Overflows, supporting diverse patient populations including those with respiratory, cardiac, orthopedic, and post-surgical needs. Shifts are 12-hour nights, giving you a chance to experience the rhythm of overnight care while supporting multiple inpatient units. Your role involves monitoring patient status, interpreting cardiac rhythms, managing IV medications, and assisting with procedures like drain management and nasogastric tube placements. This assignment stands out for its variety of patient diagnoses and the opportunity to float across several facilities within the region, enhancing your adaptability and skill set.
