Job Description:

This travel nursing position places you on a detailed-focused Oncology Progressive Care Unit (PCU) specializing in medical oncology patients with complex needs. You'll be responsible for managing high-acuity patients through a 12-hour rotating shift schedule that may include days, nights, or a combination of both. The role emphasizes close monitoring of leukemia, solid tumors, and orthopedic oncology cases, with the opportunity to utilize advanced telemetry systems and infusion pumps. A sense of team spirit and attentiveness to infection prevention and fall protocols are key to thriving here. Expect to interpret dysrhythmias, manage IV therapies, and perform procedures like blood product administration and port access—all within a unit that values your expertise in acute care nursing.
