Job Description:

This 16-week travel assignment places you in the West 6 Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit in Rochester, NY, where you'll work 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. With a focus on acute med-surg and telemetry, you'll take part in a variety of patient cases that require careful monitoring and quick decision-making. The role involves charting in EPIC, floating to different units as needed, and stepping into charge nurse responsibilities. Candidates should have at least one year of recent acute med-surg/telemetry experience and hold an active NY RN license. This assignment offers a balanced weekly schedule of 36 hours with the flexibility to work additional hours or weekends, and you'll be expected to work at least one holiday during your contract. Highland will provide training if needed, and a minimum of 50 miles residency from the facility is required to participate.
