Job Description:

Join the Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool as a Registered Nurse in Charleston, SC, for a temporary 13-week contract. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple pediatric units, including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU, providing flexible float coverage based on facility needs. You’ll work three 12-hour daytime shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, every other weekend, with the possibility to float within scope to meet unit requirements. The position calls for at least two years of pediatric ICU experience, with first-timers accepted if they meet the criteria. Certification in BLS and PALS (American Heart Association only) is mandatory, and experience with ECMO or CRRT is preferred. The role requires a South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license. Expect to be part of a team that occasionally responds to emergency situations during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. This assignment offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in pediatric critical care across several units in a hospital setting while enjoying the flexibility of a float pool environment.
