Job Description:

Join the Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool as an RN in Charleston, South Carolina, for an engaging 13-week contract. This role involves working three 12-hour daytime shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, supporting various pediatric units including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU. The float nature of this position offers variety—you're the versatile clinician ready to float within scope to meet different unit needs. If you have at least two years of pediatric ICU experience and hold a South Carolina or multi-state license, this opportunity is open to you, including first-time travelers with the correct background. Certification requirements include BLS and PALS (AHA approved). Candidates with experience in ECMO and CRRT are preferred. The assignment involves every other weekend and holiday rotation, with the facility allowing one shift to be called off every two weeks. Be prepared to potentially respond to emergency assignments during hurricane season for added excitement. This role ensures a weekly commitment of 36 hours, consistent pay, and the chance to work in a supportive environment that values flexibility and experience.
